College looks to build high school on campus
The College of the Ozarks wants to build a high school.
In October, the Board of Trustees of the College of the Ozarks will hear a plan that would call for the creation of a high school, operated by the faith-based college.
A feasibility study group has been meeting to form the foundation of a plan that would call for a college-prep high school on the 1,000 acre campus of the college itself.
The school would serve students in grades 9-12 who are interested in a faith-based education program. The students would also be enrolled in some form of work program, consistent with the college’s approach to having students work to help pay for their education.
