CHANCES boat race winners announced
The Second Annual Cardboard Boat Races for CHANCES?of Stone County drew a large crowd to Kimberling City on Saturday.
The event is designed to raise funds for the organization and in its second year, the race brought out a record crowd to enjoy not only the boat races and the motorcycle ride that accompanied it, but also numerous vendors who set up shop in the parking lot of the Kimberling Shopping Center. The parking lot at the center was also filled with the vehicles of spectators who braved the 100+ degree temperatures to offer their support.
