Arkansas doctor charged with two counts of child rape and two counts of sexual assault of a seven year-old girl

A doctor from Conway, Arkansas has been arrested on two counts of child rape and two counts of sexual assault of a seven year-old girl.
Dr. Byron Kevin Beaver, 39, turned himself in Friday evening after he learned of the allegations and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday (08-22-11.) The mother of the child alerted authorities once she learned of the alleged incident.
A dispatcher with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office says Beaver is still in jail on $500,000 bond.
Dr. Beaver has a wound care practice in Morrilton.
