In Barry County, a 47-year-old Aurora man, Daniel E. Branham, was killed Saturday afternoon when his vehicle ran off of the roadway and struck a tree.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said a 31-year-old female passenger, Malena L. Willhite, also of Aurora, was seriously injured.
Both were transported to St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, where Branham was pronounced dead. The accident occurred on Farm Road 1065.

A 26-year-old Blue Eye man was injured Saturday afternoon when he puled his vehicle out and into the path of another.
Police said Adam L. Mihalik was attempting a U-Turn on Highway 76 in Reeds Spring when he struck a vehicle operated by Dana Teague, 39, of Reeds Spring.
Mihalik suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Teague received minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
