Blunt pushing hard for Romney nomination

Blunt is lobbying his colleagues for a Romney nomination.

Although the first presidential nominating contest is still months away, Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt has already begun lobbying his colleagues in an effort to drum-up congressional support for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney.
Blunt was recently named the Romney campaign’s congressional liaison, charged with shoring-up endorsements from Senators and Representatives, the majority of whom remain uncommitted. The Republican senator argues that Romney is the best chance the GOP has at beating President Barack Obama and reclaiming the White House.
According to both Romney and Blunt, this political marriage is based on their mutual concern for “job creation.”  Or is it their mutual concern for “job creators,” as in big corporate campaign contributors?
