Branson recognized for recycling

The city known for music is now also known for recycling.
“Recycling-on-the-go” has become so popular here that the recycle kiosk at the Branson Country Mart on Hwy 248 took first place in volume competition last week when compared to other recycle kiosks from around the nation.
According to Branson Public Works Director David Miller, “Branson is a very “green” city and citizens take advantage of every opportunity to be environmentally friendly.
These kiosks for beverage containers make it easy to recycle while grocery shopping, plus you earn rewards.”
