Cassville man charged with Shell Knob break-ins of pharmacy
Steven Estel Henson, 30, of Cassville, has been charged in two break-ins at pharmacies in Shell Knob. Police said the arrest came folklowing an interview by sheriff investigators during which Henson allegedly confessed to the break-ins.
The first reported robbery took place at at the Shell Knob Pharmacy, where Henson allegedly stole 2,500 hydrocodone pills. The second break-in resulted in the removal of an undisclosed amount of drugs.
He is also suspected of a break-in at Sater Pharmacy in Cassville.
Cassville County Sheriff Mick Epperly said Henson admitted to the two break-ins in Shell Knob, stating he had taken a hammer to break the glass in the doors to gain admittance. Officers retrieved blood evidence at the scene, which is undergoing DNA testing.
Henson is currently being held at the Barry County Jail.
