As first reported by The Ozarks Sentinel in September, the Taney County coroner has confirmed  that  Russell and Rebecca Porter both died of gunshot wounds to their heads.  The Porters disappeared from their rural home northeast of Willard in Greene County in April.  Their bodies were later discovers in a remote location in Taney County in July, after police received a tip.
Both were allegedly shot execution style.
A memorial service for Russell Porter is scheduled for today (Oct.1, 2011) 1 p.m.  at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Fair Grove.
A memorial service for Rebecca Porter was held in September.
