Ellis family to perform at Crane Assemblies of God
Crane Assemblies of God, located at the end of Main Street in downtown Crane, is pleased to announce that the Ellis family of New Wine Skin Ministries will be ministering in Word and song on Sunday evening, September 18, 2011 at 6:30pm. Everyone is invited to attend this free concert. There will be a love offering taken.
The Ellis family has been in ministry since 1992 serving mainly as worship Pastors. They have led worship all over the country and produced and directed many seasonal productions for the purpose of reaching the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jim Ellis attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. In 1990 he married Colleen and they began their ministry together upon Jim’s graduation in 1992.
Since that time they have had two children, Quenton (1996) and Kiana (1997), and have ministered on staff in seven different churches throughout the United States as Youth and/or Music Minister. In 1995 they traveled together as Sing Sign Ministries, touring the south eastern states and ministering in several different churches.
Most recently, Jim was a member of the cast at Sight & Sound Theatres in Branson, MO.
The Ellis Family’s latest project entitled “This is the Life” is a collection of 11 original songs. From the worshipful heart cries of “Let the Healing Begin” and “Fill Me Lord” to the plea for America to return to her moral roots in “One Woman One Man” you will feel the passion of a family ready to make a difference in this world.
The title track was literally written as the first line says, “sittin’ ‘round the coffee table…” and is a plea to everyone, male and female, married and single, to recognize the blessed life that has been given to them by an Almighty God. It’s time to stop looking for life in all the wrong place because, “This is the Life”!
We hope that you will join us for a wonderful night of being ministered to in music.
