Fall Gardening Workshop in Kimberling City
The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks will be hosting the eighth annual “Fall Gardening Workshop” from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 in the community room at the Kimberling Area Library, 45 Kimberling Blvd., Kimberling City, Mo.
The event is designed for homeowners seeking tips on garden management.
This program will feature presentations on topics like perennial shade gardening, planning for spring vegetable gardening, design in a country garden and Japanese maples. There will also be a question and answer clinic.
“The Master Gardeners are drawing this year on speakers who have a lot of experience in these topics so it should be an outstanding workshop.” said Tim Schnakenberg, agronomy specialist, University of Missouri Extension.
Space is limited and advance registration is required and a boxed lunch will be provided for pre-registered participants.
For more information on the cost and to preregister, contact the Stone County Extension Center at (417) 357-6812 by Oct. 18. More information regarding the speakers and using an online registration is available on the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks website at http://mgozarks.com/.
