Southern Stone County, Missouri – 2:15 PM December 8, 2011 – 43 Valleyview Street Reeds Spring.
Dispatched to a residential structure fire with explosions. First Engine on scene reported a fully involved large two story structure with an attached garage.
The residence is occupied by one male that sustained minor burns while attempting to extinguish the fire.
He was treated on scene by St. Johns EMS. The American Red Cross has been called in for assistance.
25 Firefighters were on scene for nearly 3 hours. The cause is under investigation.
At this time it does not appear suspicious. Western Taney County Fire And Northern Stone County Fire responded as part of the 2nd alarm.
