Fire hits home near Branson

Just before 9 a.m. this morning, the Western Taney County Fire District received a report of a structure fire at 4200 Victor Church Rd Northwest of Branson.  When fire personnel arrived on scene, there was heavy smoke showing from the structure.
There were initial reports that someone may still be inside the home however, an extensive search of the structure found no one was home when the fire started and the occupants of the structure have been located and have been verified to all be safe.  The exact cause of the fire was not able to be determined however the fire is believed to have started because of an electrical issue within the structure.
No one was injured at the fire however the structure did receive extensive fire and smoke damage.
