Branson Fire & Rescue has announced the promotion of Randy Fogle to the position of Technical Services Division Chief.

Fogle began serving in his new role effective Monday, September 26.
Division Chief Fogle will be responsible for the Technical Services programs including the plan review and inspections for commercial buildings regarding fire and life safety systems and structures, the fire and life safety inspection programs on existing commercial buildings, fire investigations, and fire and life safety public education programs.
Division Chief Fogle began his service to the fire department in November of 1997 as a volunteer firefighter. In July of 2000 he secured a position as a career firefighter and in December of 2006 he promoted to Fire Prevention Officer in the Technical Services Division.
“Randy was selected from 30 candidates that applied from across the nation, including two other in-house candidates,” stated Fire Chief Ted Martin. “Randy brings experience from within the division as well as a passion to serve the community with a focus of fire prevention and life safety for our residents and visitors,” added Martin. Division Chief Fogle has focused on fire service training from the University of Missouri Fire Rescue Institute, Missouri Division of Fire Safety, and the National Fire Academy. This includes core certification by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety as a Fire Officer, Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator.
