Kimberling City vision study draws public input
On Tuesday evening 40 Kimberling City residents met with students from Drury University for the first public meeting aimed at preparing the city’s Vision Study. The study is a collaborative effort between residents and students from the university and was funded in whole by private donations.
Tuesday evening’s program allowed residents to identify an area of concern, set goals around that concern and then decide on methods to obtain the set goals.
Students led the roundtable discussions and decision-making progress, while residents provided the input that identified the above data.
The single most identified concern among residents was the need for a city identification – something that sets Kimberling City apart from other cities.
