Local CAP promotes 11 in one day

The Table Rock Lake Composite Squadron promoted eleven of its members, four cadets and seven seniors, on the same day on September 1, 2011. This many personnel promoted at one time was a very unusual event for the 60-member local CAP Squadron. The CAP squadron, also known as NCR-MO-147, recently achieved the maximum rating of “Highly Successful” during a Subordinate Unit Inspection (SUI) by Wing Inspector General Personnel.
The squadron also: (1) was selected as CAP Group V Squadron of the Year, (2) was nominated for the Missouri-wide Wing Squadron of the year, 3) was chosen as the six-state North Central Region (NCR) Flagship Squadron of the Year, and (4) competed along with seven other squadrons for the CAP National Squadron of the Year.

The Commander of the local CAP Squadron is Captain Chuck Stone. The Deputy Commander for Seniors is Captain Mike Shilko and The Deputy Commander for Cadets is Captain Tom Martin. These Commanders are very proud of all the member personnel in The Table Rock Lake Composite Squadron for their outstanding work, achievements and accomplishments, which the squadron has compiled in its first fifteen months of existence.
The local CAP Squadron meets every Thursday evening at 6:30 PM in the AeroPremier hangar at the Branson West Airport on Ances Creek Road.
