Where is the Constitution headed? The answer lies with the American people and their understanding of its principals.

The Ozarks Sentinel has added a new section to its web site which is designed to help educate the American people on the U.S. Constitution and how it came about.
From a biography on each of the signers, to an in-depth look at the articles and documents that led to its creation, the site hopes to provide readers with a comprehensive overview of America’s most precious document.
Managing editor, Dave Warren, noted the current trend of the federal government is to ignore the Constitution and create legislation that falls far below the standards set by the founding fathers.
“We are in an age where the Constitution is being shredded by all political parties in favor of solidifying their own political power,” he said. “The Constitution is the very foundation of our system of government and allowing our representatives to “do as they please” and violate their oath to uphold and defend it is a very slippery slope.”
The Constitutional portion of the site will continue to be expanded and readers are encouraged to share their views on the document.
