Schools hit mark on APR
Nearly every school district is southwest Missouri scored very high on the preliminary 2011 Annual Performance Report released Friday.
Only 18 of the 447 Missouri school districts with students in kindergarten through grade 12 scored low enough, meeting fewer than nine of the 14 benchmarks — to put full state accreditation at risk. None of those were in southwest Missouri.
While the APR is a state performance reporting system, it does not impact the federal AYP report under the No Child Left Behind Act.
