“Sorry, wrong number” – Text lands woman behind bars

Sending a text about selling drugs to a deputy has landed Horman behind bars.

In the dumb criminal category, a Missouri woman took the award for the week after a text went awry.
The text message to the wrong number has landed her in jail.
Police reported that 24-year-old Amy Horman of Perryville offered drugs for sale in the text. However, she entered a wrong number and inadvertently sent it to a Perry County deputy sheriff.
That text led to a search of Horman’s home, where Sheriff Gary Schaaf  said they found marijuana, along with scales used for processing, packaging and selling.
Horman has been charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug
paraphernalia.
