This structure fire on Monterey Drive destoryed the home - photo by SSCFPD

Units were dispatched just after 3 a.m. Friday for a reported structure f ire on Monterey Drive located off Stormy Point Road.
The first engine on scene was Branson Fire Department Engine 3.
They found the home fully involved with flames.
They immediately began protecting the adjacent structures. The home was a total loss. The home is reported to be vacant and under renovation.
Southern Stone County Fire District was assisted by Branson Fire Department, Western Taney County Fire Protection District and St. Johns EMS.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
