St. John’s Berryville raises funds for Joplin

In support of the ongoing clean up and rebuilding efforts in Joplin after a devastating tornado destroyed much of the city, St. John’s Hospital – Berryville raised money by giving coworkers the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays throughout the months of June and July for a small donation. Additionally, coworkers could purchase a “Mercy and Joplin Rising” t-shirt in support of St. John’s Joplin coworkers and the community in which they live. The proceeds from the Jeans for Joplin Fridays and the “Mercy and Joplin Rising” t-shirts went towards a fund established for coworker and community needs in Joplin. Many participated in this fundraising event and proudly displayed their t-shirts.
