A Sunday afternoon accident in Stone County has left one Miami, Oklahoma woman with serious injuries.
The Missouri Highjway Patrol reported that William J. Forbis, 42, Miami Oklahoma, was operating his 1997 Yamaha Motorcyle on Stormy Point Road when he lost control, and ran off of the roadway.
A passenger ion the motorcycle, 42-year-old Tamora Convirs, was pinned under the bike.
Police said she was taken to St. John’s Hospital, Springfield by air.
Forbis was not injured.
The accident happened at approximately 2:18 p.m.
