One of two men charged with running a dog fighting operation out of Stone County pleaded guilty to the charges during  a scheduled court appearance in Galena on Thursday.
Court documents show that 42-year-old Jon Stingley received a suspended four-year prison sentence with conditions added to his probation.
Stingley, along with Keith Owens, were arrested in 2010 following an undercover investigation.
The second of the two, Owens is currently serving four years probation after entering an Alford plea.
