Taney County Motorcycle crash turns deadly
A man from Merriam Woods died Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash near Branson, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
Dereck Ellsworth, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene on Missouri 465, according to a Highway Patrol crash report.
Ellsworth overturned in the middle of the roadway. The 2005 Kawasaki landed on top of him as he skidded down the roadway, according to the report.
