The “Kiss” to be moved from Branson Landing

This life-sized statue currently at Branson Landing is a full-color replica of a 1945 photo of a sailor kissing a nurse during a celebration of the end of World War II. On  Friday, Sept. 2, it will be moved to the Veterans Memorial Museum for the 11 a..m. ceremony noting the signing of the surrender of Japan.
Later that day, it will be moved to the lobby of the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks where it will be displayed for an uncertain length of time.
