Three injured in head-on collision near Reeds Spring

At approximately 8:50 AM, crew members from Southern Stone County Fire Protection District were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision just 2 miles northwest of Reeds Spring on State Highway 413.
First responders on scene assisted St. Johns personnel with a head-on crash involving three patients.  A 1982 Chevrolet Caprice driven by a 60 year old female was heading northbound when it crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2000 Buick LaSabre carrying a 51 year old male driver and a 48 year old female passenger.

The driver of the northbound vehicle suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to St. Johns in Springfield.  The driver of the other car had minor injuries and the passenger suffered moderate injuries.  Both were transported to St. Johns.
