Two seriously injured in Barry County motorcycle crash, driver arrested on four charges including felony DWI

 

A Sunday afternoon collision has injured two in Barry County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Donald R. Patton, 49, of Golden, was driving his 2005 Harley motorcycle  on Farm Road 2250, five miles south of Shell Knob, when he lost control of the vehicle and left the road, striking a tree and a fence.
Jason Marchetti, 26, of Eagle Rock was a passenger on the Harley.
Police reported that both men suffered serious injury and were transported to St. John’s, Berryville , Ark.
The accident happened at approximately 4:10 p.m. Sunday.
Patton was arrested and charged with 1-FELONY SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT 2-FELONY DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 3-FELONY DRIVING WHILE REVOKED 4-CARELESS AND IMPRUDENT DRIVING RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT.
